About Me

Welcome to Mystic Paws™! I’m Laurie and this is Kobi, my guardian angel and muse. My journey begins with a profound love for my pets, whose unconditional love and wisdom have shaped my life in extraordinary ways. They’ve taught me patience, empathy, resilience, and the art of letting go. Their ability to comfort and heal has been one of life’s greatest gifts, leaving an indelible mark on my heart. I am forever grateful for the lessons they’ve shared and the joy they’ve brought.

As an artist and lifelong learner, I draw inspiration from mythology, world religions, archetypes, and the human psyche. Influenced by the teachings of Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell, Ram Dass, and Alan Watts, I blend these philosophies into my creative process. My work as a certified yoga instructor, Feng Shui guide, and Neurographic Coach enriches my art with meaning and depth.

For over 20 years, I have worked as a graphic designer, primarily in the wine and food industry, where I honed my skills in branding and storytelling. As a digital creator and early adopter of technology, I’ve always been fascinated by multimedia art forms, creating vibrant digital collages and multimedia pieces that bring my visions to life. And…in my spare time I do pet portraits.

Mystic Paws™ Tarot, Oracle, and Angel cards are the culmination of my life’s work—a heartfelt tribute to the pets who have been my greatest teachers and companions. These cards celebrate the love, wisdom, and connection that animals bring into our lives while honoring their enduring impact on my soul.

I reside in California with my devoted sidekick, Wolfgang Pomadeus, first of his name, second of the LionBearKings, successor to Kobi, and guardian of my heart.
